この間草津旅行に行ってきました！！
そのお話をすこししようと思います·͜·

私は人生で日本列島全部行けたらいいなーと思っています！

I went to Kusatsu recently!

I want to tell you a bit about it 😊

I hope I can visit all of Japan someday.

緑の色が行った場所で、黄色い色は優先的に行きたい場所です！！
最近ちょっと増えてきたのですが、好きな場所に何回も行く傾向があるのでなかなか難しい😂
今年はもう少し増やせたらいいなーと思いますฅ( ˙꒳​˙ ฅ)

The places marked in green are the ones I’ve already visited,

and the ones in yellow are the places I want to prioritize visiting.

I’ve been adding a few more recently,

but I tend to go back to places I really like, so it’s not that easy 😂

I hope I can add a few more this year ฅ( ˙꒳ ˙ ฅ)

初めての草津だったのですが、本当に本当に寒かった、、
大寒波が来てた時に行っていたので気温を見たら-8度で体感温度は-17度と書いてありました🧊
もはや冷蔵庫ᯤ ᯅ ᯤ
でも本当に綺麗な場所でした⛄️
草津で有名な湯もみですが普通のものは見てこなくて、猿がやる湯もみを見てきました😂
めっちゃ可愛かったです🐒

It was my first time in Kusatsu, and wow… it was freezing.

It was during a cold wave, so it was –8°C, but it felt like –17°C 🧊

Basically a fridge 😂

Still, it was such a beautiful place ⛄️

Kusatsu is known for yumomi, a traditional way of stirring hot spring water with big wooden paddles to cool it down without adding water.

I didn’t see the normal one, but I watched monkeys doing yumomi instead 🐒

They were adorable!

草津は草津温泉プリンも有名だと思います！！
私のお母さんはプリンが一番大好きなのでお土産に買っていって自分でもひとつ食べました🐈
メロンのゼリー？とプリンです！
草津は美味しいものが沢山あって、お昼ご飯の1時間後にはまた何か食べてる、みたいな感じでした笑笑

Kusatsu is also famous for Kusatsu Onsen Pudding.

My mom absolutely loves pudding, so I bought it as a souvenir for her—and I had one myself too 🐈

It was pudding with melon jelly (I think!).

There’s so much good food in Kusatsu that I felt like I was eating again only an hour after lunch 😂

I went skiing for the first time!

Stopping was so hard, and I kept falling and screaming 😂

But I eventually figured out how to ski 😎⛷

I twisted my ankle from falling so much, but I’m fine 😛

It started snowing heavily, so I played in the snow for about an hour.

The snow in Kusatsu is super powdery, which made it hard to build a snowman 🫨

全部ひっくるめて草津は素敵な場所でした🎌訪れて良かったです😌
次はどこに行こうかな〜🤔大阪は何回も何回も訪れていますが毎年行きたくなります\\( •̀ω•́ )/

All in all, Kusatsu was a truly wonderful place 🎌

I’m really glad I visited 😌

Where should I go next, I wonder? 🤔

I’ve been to Osaka many, many times, but somehow I feel like going every single year ( •̀ω•́ )/

I love talking with people I meet—especially visitors from overseas—about places they’ve been to in Japan,
