Good evening ð This is Shizuku ð
Sorry for the long gap between blog updates ð¥²
I went to China and Hong Kong for about five days! It was almost my first time traveling abroad ð³
And I went all by myself!! I had such a wonderful time, so Iâd like to write a little about it here â
I have so many wonderful memories that I canât possibly write them all down, so Iâd love to tell you everything when we meet again Ë ð¥Š Ë
This time, I visited China and Hong Kong in just five days. I had always wanted to go to China, and finally, that dream came true ðšð³
When I researched it, I found out that you can travel cheaply and quickly from China to Hong Kong, so I thought, âWhy not go to both?â and decided to enjoy a slightly luxurious trip ( â¢ÌÏâ¢Ì )/
On the day I arrived at the first airport, everything was difficult, and I somehow managed to get through by asking many people for help. But people felt very different from Japanese people, and to be honest, I started to feel a little uncomfortable ð¥²
I felt down, thinking, âWhy isnât everyone kinder? Why doesnât anyone smile?â lol
So many things in China were difficult, and even when I researched, I often couldnât really understand, so I thought, âThe fastest way is to just ask people!â During this trip, I received help more times than I can count ð
At first, I truly couldnât understand how to ride the trains, but after spending one day there, I gradually got used to it ð
And as I became more familiar with Chinese peopleâs personalities and ways, by the end of the first day, those uncomfortable feelings had completely disappeared â
At first, the gap between Japanese and Chinese culture felt scary and uncomfortable, but I now see it as simply a cultural difference.
There are many big differences between Japan and China, including peopleâs personalities, but I believe each country has its own wonderful qualities ð
I think choosing China for my first real solo overseas trip was absolutely the right decision!
The places I visited had almost no tourists, so I was able to see the countryâs real culture and people ð³
At first, I felt a little uncomfortable, but now, as Iâm on my way back, China has become a country I truly love â I even miss it already ðšð³â¡
Sometimes people can feel a bit scary, but the people I met were kind, very unique, and warm in their own way, which made me feel that China is a very special country.
I would love to visit many other regions of China as well in the future!
This trip was extremely special to me, and it taught me so many things ·Í·

The streets in China are completely different depending on the area â some places feel super futuristic, while others feel very local and traditional. Everything felt so fresh and new to me ð
What surprised me the most was drone delivery ð There was a drone delivery spot in a park, and it seems like drones can deliver food and other things there! So amazing â as expected from China lol. I definitely want to try it next time ð
