A Day at Dazaifu 🇯🇵🇭🇰

The other day, I went on a date with my boyfriend from Hong Kong, and we visited Dazaifu together.

He really likes Japanese shrines, so he seemed excited from the moment we walked through the torii gate. We slowly walked around the shrine grounds, said our prayers, and then stopped by the area where they sell amulets.

I was surprised because he bought so many omamori (Japanese lucky cしharms)!

He carefully checked the meaning of each one—one for health, one for work, and even one for his family.

Japanese omamori are small and cute, and there are different ones for different wishes, so they seem especially popular with people from overseas. Watching him seriously choose each one was actually really adorable, and I couldn’t help but smile.

After our walk around Dazaifu, we went for dinner in the evening.

That night, we ate yakiniku together.

He kept saying, “Japanese yakiniku is really delicious!” and ate a lot. While grilling the meat, we talked about many different things, and it was such a fun time.

I really like sightseeing dates because you get to see a different side of the person you’re with.

Next time he comes to Japan, I hope we can visit another place together.

It was such a warm and memorable day. 🌙

太宰府デートの日🇯🇵🇭🇰

この前のデートは、香港から来てくれた彼と一緒に太宰府へ行ってきました⛩️

日本の神社がすごく好きみたいで、鳥居をくぐった瞬間から楽しそうでした。

境内をゆっくり歩きながらお参りをして、そのあとお守り売り場へ。

そしたら…びっくりするくらいお守りを買っていました！

「これは健康」「これは仕事」「これは家族」って、ひとつひとつちゃんと意味を見ながら選んでいました。

日本のお守りって小さくて可愛いし、願い事ごとに種類があるから、外国の人には特に人気みたいですね✨

真剣に選んでいる姿を見てほっこりしました😊

太宰府をゆっくり散歩したあとは、夜ごはんで、

その日は一緒に焼肉を食べに行きました🥩

「日本の焼肉は本当に美味しい！」ってすごく喜んでくれて、たくさん食べていました。

お肉を焼きながら色々なお話をして、すごく楽しい時間でした☺️

観光デートって、相手の新しい一面が見えるから好きです。

また日本に来たときは、別の場所にも一緒に行けたら嬉しいです！

そんな、ほっこりした1日でした🌙
