After strolling around Yanaka Ginza, we had lunch at Hantei, a beautiful restaurant that is designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.

There were lots of adorable little cat decorations inside the restaurant, which made the atmosphere even more charming. 🐈

After lunch, we headed to Rikugien Garden, where we relaxed, chatted about all kinds of things, and enjoyed some matcha tea together. 🍵

They also had some beautiful and colorful nerikiri, traditional Japanese sweets. I was already too full to try one, but they looked so cute!

I’d love to visit Rikugien again when the flowers are in bloom or when the autumn leaves are at their most beautiful. 🪻🍁
