今回は、アメリカから日本に旅行に来ている彼氏さんと夜ご飯デートをしてきました✨

会う前にLINEで彼氏さんが
「僕、すごく背が低いよ！」
と言っていたので、どれくらいなんだろう？と思いながら待っていたのですが……

実際に会ってびっくり。

小春の人生で出会った人の中で一番背が高かったです😂

全然言ってたことと違う！笑

会ってすぐに冗談だったことが分かって、
最初から彼氏さんのおちゃめな一面に笑わされました😂

そして、今回は小春の好きな食べ物を選ばせてもらったので

まずは一緒に牛カツを食べに行きました🥩

ご飯を食べながら、彼氏さんが今回日本でどんなふうにバケーションを過ごしているのか、
いろいろなお話を聞きました。

小春とは育った文化も普段のライフスタイルも全然違っていて、

聞いていてすごく興味深かったです。

特に印象に残ったのは、
彼氏さんが自分の人生をすごく楽しんでいること。

もちろん小春とは環境も考え方も違うけれど、
彼氏さんのお話を聞いていると、なんだか小春まで元気をもらえるような感じがしました☺️

違う国で育った人とお話ししていると、
自分の中にはなかった考え方を知ることができるので面白いです。

ご飯の後はジェラートを食べに行きました🍨

なんと3つも味を選べたので、小春は

ピスタチオ・塩キャラメル・ブルーベリーマスカルポーネ

の3種類にしました😋

3種類あると「次どれ食べようかな〜」って迷いながら食べられるのも楽しかったです✨

そのあとは、ジェラートを持ってベンチに座っておしゃべり。

ここで彼氏さんのすごいところを発見しました。

小春から話を引き出すのがすごく上手！

質問の仕方が上手なのか、話しやすい雰囲気を作ってくれるからなのか……

たくさんおしゃべりしていました😂

そして彼氏さんは、小春が「レンタル彼女」をしていることにも興味津々でした！！

「普段どんなことしてるの？」みたいに色々聞いてくれて、
小春もレンタル彼女のお仕事についてたくさんお話ししました！

そしてなぜか途中から、小春のブログに載せる写真の編集までしてくれることに😂

(小春も隠されちゃったけどもちろん採用です！😂

身長差がすごいですね笑)

こういう予想していなかった出来事も、デートの楽しい思い出のひとつです☺️

短い夜ご飯デートだったけれど、
美味しいものを食べて、たくさん笑って、違う文化や考え方にも触れられた楽しい時間でした✨

日本での旅行中という限られた時間の中で、小春と会う時間を作ってくれてありがとう☺️

彼氏さんの日本でのバケーションが、最後まで素敵な思い出でいっぱいになりますように🇺🇸🇯🇵✨

Today, I went on a dinner date with a boyfriend
who is visiting Japan from the United States ✨

Before we met, he told me on LINE,

“I’m super short!”

So I was wondering how short he actually was
while I was waiting for him...

But when we finally met, I was shocked.

He was actually the tallest person I’ve ever met! 😂

That was completely different from what he told me! lol

I realized right away that he had just been joking,
and from the very beginning, his playful personality made me laugh 😂

For dinner, he kindly let me choose something I wanted to eat,
so we went to have gyukatsu, one of my favorite foods 🥩

While we were eating,
he told me all about how he has been spending his vacation in Japan.

We grew up in completely different cultures
and live very different lifestyles,
so I found his stories really interesting.

One thing that especially stood out to me was
how much he genuinely enjoys his life.

Of course, our environments and ways of thinking are different,
but listening to him somehow gave me energy too ☺️

There was something about his outlook on life that felt uniquely American to me
—in a fun, positive, and refreshing way.

I really enjoy talking with people
who grew up in different countries because they often introduce me to ideas
and perspectives I would never have thought of on my own.

After dinner, we went to get some gelato 🍨

We could choose three flavors, so I picked:

pistachio, salted caramel, and blueberry mascarpone 😋

After that, we sat on a bench with our gelato and talked for a while.

That was when I discovered something he is really good at.

He’s amazing at getting me to talk!

Maybe it was the way he asked questions,
or maybe he was just really good at creating a comfortable atmosphere...

He was also really curious about my work as a “rental girlfriend”!!

He asked me lots of questions like,
“What do you usually do on dates?” and I ended up telling him a lot about my job.

And somehow, at some point,
he even started editing the photos I was going to use for my blog 😂

Little unexpected moments like this always end up becoming some of the best memories from a date ☺️

It was only a short dinner date, but I got to eat delicious food, laugh a lot, and learn about a completely different culture and way of thinking.
